<For the re:publica 2023 we will build an installation of 3D sculptures that are only visible through augmented reality (AR). Visitors will be able to access the installation by logging into our user interface through a QR code. By using their smartphone cameras to scan various images on the exhibition space, they will be able to view AR sculptures of different colors, sizes, and shapes. The sculptures are designed to create a virtual sculpture ensemble, completely detached from the analog art experience. The installation aims to inspire visitors to reflect on the transformation process between the real world and the metaverse. Who actually owns the Metaverse? Are there public places in the Metaverse, and if so, who decides which sculptures are placed? Additionally, the sculptures created for re:publica will be displayed in a freely accessible, custom Metaverse gallery and can be viewed online via desktop, tablet, mobile or in VR>
