Zusammenfassung
What do sex workers, people on the move and racialised people have in common? They all want to fight for AI that serves their communities. Front-line advocates will talk about their collective action to shape AI to serve communities currently most affected by harmful AI.

This conversation places front and centre three social justice movements: Sex workers' rights, racial justice and migrants' rights, and the collective effort to shape the direction of Artificial Intelligence through political action. Underrepresented and often excluded from political forums where AI rules are made, despite being disproportionately affected by harmful uses of AI, advocates are working together to shift the power of technology.

The panel will have three parts. First, by asking what's at stake for the three communities, we will explore the impact of AI for racialised people, sex workers and people on the move, and seek intersections. Second, advocates will reflect on collective action through an intersectional lens: what's in common, what's the added value of making change happen jointly, and what enables and hinders the work of social justice movements to shape AI? Third, we will explore what lies ahead: what's their vision and who holds the power to direct AI.
