Jay Cousins

Jay Cousins - Jay is an inventor, entrepreneur, and community catalyst focused on systems transformation.

He is a carrier of many questions he is actively seeking answers to, and many answers that are looking for places to grow. 

The most burning of which is “how do we transition from a society that produces deserts by default, to a polyculture who’s habits create habitat?”

Just as a Jay plants the seeds of a forest, Jay distributes and plants ideas where they can take root and grow. www.solarpunknow.world products are an early example of such collaborations.

Jay has led many lives ranging from Inventor and CEO (bringing his own designs to global markets), to catalysing the Berlin Maker scene with Open Design City and the Makerlabs, and working with startups in Egypt and Sri Lanka.

He now lives in Egypt, where he has been working to understand our relationship to waste, and how it might more rapidly become Habitat.
