Anja Saleh

Anja Saleh is an interdisciplinary artist, cultural advisor, curator, poet and writer. 
Educated in political and social sciences, Anja Saleh’s research and art focus on forms of archives, the colonial continuities within remembering and its effect on our futures.

Since 2022 she is part of the Muslim Futures Fellowship in which she is exploring future studies from a muslim perspective in relation to arts and heritage crafts. 

Critical of historical, emotional and environmental sustainability within the fashion and jewellery industry, Anja Saleh founded TAVII Studio in 2018, a cultural project that centres artisans and their stories in Cairo, Egypt; Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso and Berlin, Germany.
