Heather Dannyelle Thompson is the Digital Democracy Manager overseeing the activities of the Digital Democracy Programme Unit. She develops sector-specific strategies and advocates for multistakeholder, cross-sectoral solutions to the challenges facing democratic discourse in the digital age. Heather holds a Bachelor’s in Material Sciences, Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University. She also holds a Master of Public Policy from the Hertie School of Governance, where she focused on data analysis and econometrics, as well as diversity and inclusion in policymaking.
