Dunya Wasella completed her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and South Asia Studies at Heidelberg University. She was the host of the German-language podcast “Milliarden Stimmen,” which provided in-depth analysis of the current elections in India. Having been acquainted with the Indian subcontinent from her early youth, Dunya spent a school year in the port city of Visakhapatnam when she was 15 and continued to frequently visit the country for work and internships. In her thesis, Dunya explored the evolving perspectives of Europe within India. Dunya is a board member of the Indo-German Media Network and volunteers to digitalize the Germman-language  Südasien magazine.
