Dunya Wasella completed her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and South Asian Studies at Heidelberg University. She is the host of the German-language podcast “Milliarden Stimmen,” which provides in-depth analysis of the current elections in India. Having been acquainted with the Indian subcontinent from her early youth, Dunya spent a school year in the port city of Visakhapatnam when she was only 15. Her connection to India has only grown stronger over the years, with frequent visits as a volunteer and through various internships. In her thesis, Dunya explored the evolving perspectives of Europe within India.
