Thomas Sommerer

I am a media researcher with a PhD from the University of Graz. In my research I have specialized in the topics of AI-generated content, digital culture and the philosophy of technology. I examine the question how AI-generated content transforms media and our relation to reality through a critical theory lens. My work has been published in Philosophy & Technology and featured in media outlets including ZDF, Deutschlandfunk, Ö1, among others.
