An award-winning British filmmaker, Havana Marking is known for finding the human stories that reflect the larger geopolitical picture. Marking's previous film, UNDERCOVER Exposing the far right (2024), premiered to worldwide audiences and 5 star reviews. The film follows an undercover journalist on a thrilling mission infiltrating various far right networks all the way to Silicon Valley. 

Filmography: Afghan Star (2009), winning Best Director and Audience Award at Sundance, the Grierson Award and the Prix Italia; Smash & Grab (2011) a US cinema hit with unprecedented access to the world’s most successful diamond thieves and; Storyville: The PM, the Playboy and the Wolf of Wall Street (2018) about the 1MDB financial fraud scandal from Malaysia to the studios of Hollywood. 

At Roast Beef Productions (2009-18), she EP’d Pussy Riot: A Punk Prayer, To Hell and Back Again and The Russian Woodpecker garnering an Academy Award nomination and several Emmy and Sundance awards.
