Nikita Adishchev

Nikita Adishchev, a documentary cameraman and stringer journalist from Saint Petersburg.

In the two years following the outbreak of the full-scale war in Ukraine, he travelled extensively across Russia, documenting and reporting on how the country and its people were changing.

In 2024, he was forced to leave Russia while working on a story for an episode of Tracks East (ARTE), after receiving threats and becoming the target of false reports circulated by pro-government media.

He is currently working as a freelance cameraman and reporter, collaborating with European broadcasters and Russian media in exile on visual research and various storytelling formats.
