Max works on strategy and organizational design with a focus on digital disruption. He is project manager at the GIZ. Previous assignments include consulting, research & analysis, and the co-design of advisory projects for OECD, the German Ministry of Finance and ministries and government agencies in 12 countries in MENA, Southeast Asia, Central Asia and sub-Saharan Africa. Max has earned his MSc and PhD in international economics from Sciences Po Paris and has held academic scholarships at École normale supérieure Paris, Princeton University and Harvard University. He was invited as a visiting scholar to Oxford University’s Saïd Business School, where he has conducted research on strategic decisions in the digital economy, and is alumn of Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes.
