Manouchehr Shamsrizi has been described as "one of the most publicly prominent voices of Germany’s younger generation" (Washington Post) and "well positioned to assess emerging trends" (Monocle Magazine). A former Global Justice Fellow at Yale and Ariane de Rothschild Fellow at Cambridge, he now co-directs leap.berlin, the capital’s hub for quantum technologies within Berlin Quantum.

He co-founded gamelab.berlin (from Humboldt University’s Cluster of Excellence) and the Yunus Centre for Social Business and Values at Leuphana University, a collaboration he initiated with Nobel Peace Laureate Prof. Muhammad Yunus. Called an “innovative visionary” (TEDx), he works at the intersection of academia, tech entrepreneurship, and policy - e.g., as a Fellow of the German Council on Foreign Relations and advisor to the Federal Foreign Office.

Shamsrizi was named one of Germany’s “Top 40 under 40” by CAPITAL, is a Global Shaper of the World Economic Forum, a FERD’s List Honouree, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. He is a lecturer on "emerging technologies and its impact on society" at Leuphana Universität Lüneburg and a lecturer on philosophy at HKS Ottersberg.
