Frederik Fischer

Frederik Fischer ist Gründer und Geschäftsführer der Neulandia UG (u.a KoDorf, Summer of Pioneers) und Berater für Transformationsprozesse in Kommunen. Er ist im Vorstand der Vielleben Genossenschaft, Mitglied im Fachbeirat „Digitale Region menschlich gestalten“ der Regionale 2025 und Mitinitiator des Projekts „Digitale Landpioniere“ der Bertelsmann Stiftung.  Vor seiner Beschäftigung mit dem „Neuen Leben und Arbeiten auf dem Land“ hat Frederik zehn Jahre als Technologie-Journalist gearbeitet und mehrere Medien-Startups mitgegründet. Frederik Fischer studierte Medienwissenschaft und Volkswirtschaft in Hannover, Aarhus, Amsterdam, London und Washington. 

Der Summer of Pioneers bietet Großstadt-Kreativen und Digitalarbeiter:innen Probewohnen und Coworking auf dem Land. Ein erster Summer of Pioneers fand 2019 Jahr im brandenburgischen Wittenberge statt. Drei weitere sind in diesem Jahr im hessischen Homberg, in Altena (NRW) und in Tengen geplant.

Frederik Fischer, is the founder and CEO of Neulandia as well as board member of the Vielleben housing association. He has kickstarted numerous projects in Germany, focussing on rural Coworking and modern ways of communal living on the countryside. With his projects Summer of Pioneers and KoDorf he’s active in eight regions all across the country. A sustainable, social and progressive regional planning approach is at the heart of every Neulandia endeavour. 

Frederik Fischer studied communication science and political economy at the Aarhus and Amsterdam university as well as the City University London. Prior to Neulandia, he was working as a journalist for the biggest media brands in Germany as well as cofounding three media startups himself. As a lecturer he taught digital journalism at the Hamburg Media School and the University of Arts in Berlin.
