Caroline Paulick-Thiel

My name is Caroline, I have a track record as a strategic designer, facilitating democratisation processes in the context of social-digital-ecological transformations. Since 2015, I’m the founding director of Politics for Tomorrow, an initiative promoting cultural and structural change in political and administrative institutions from the local to planetary level. I live in Berlin and our team is dedicated to engage with the city. In 2018, we initiated the Academy of the Creative Bureaucracy Festival, which contributes to applied research in demonstrating how institutions can advance their systemic capacities. Since 2020, we have been part of remaking Berlin’s Smart City Strategy, collaborating closely with the Senate Chancellery and CityLAB. And in 2024, I have been invited to join the advisory board of Berlin’s Sustainability Strategy, hosted by the State Secretary for Environment.
