Bundesbank

The Bundesbank is shaping the future – for all generations

At the Deutsche Bundesbank, we work hand in hand with the ECB and the national central banks in the euro area to ensure a stable and reliable monetary policy. But that’s not all we do! We also make sure that there is a secure supply of cash in Germany, we are developing a consumer-friendly digital euro and we offer sound educational opportunities for pupils, students and teachers. We would love to discuss all of this with you at #rp25. At our information booth in Hall 3, you can ask us any questions you may have, test your knowledge in a quiz and win a chocolate gold reserve.

Bundesbank on stage

Visit our events in the on-stage programme: Our Executive Board member Dr Fritzi Köhler-Geib will have an on-stage discussion with Claudia Plattner, the President of the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), on how to drive forward digital innovations such as AI and European cloud solutions and why eGovernment is central to competitiveness in Germany and Europe. In addition, our Executive Board member Lutz Lienenkämper will discuss the importance of financial education in Germany and the Bundesbank’s contribution to this in a talk with Katrin Löhr, Professor of Finance at the University of Applied Sciences in Dortmund. She is a founding and board member of the Bündnis Ökonomische Bildung Deutschland e.V.

Bundesbank goes metaverse

If you would like to experience the metaverse, you will love the re:ception room on Wednesday. Immerse yourself digitally in the world of euro banknotes, the digital euro, future technologies at the Bundesbank such as quantum computing and a look around our gold vault. A unique experience – our colleagues look forward to seeing you!

Finanzielle Bildung: Der Schlüssel zur finanziellen Freiheit?

Lutz Lienenkämper, Katrin Löhr, Anissa Brinkhoff
