Accessibility & Inclusion

Arrival: Parking spaces for people with disabilities are available on the re:publica site. There are additional car parks a short distance away. You can get on and off your vehicle directly in front of STATION Berlin.

If you would like to use public transport, you can find information on barrier-free travel in the BVG FAQ (only provided in German). The underground station ‘Gleisdreieck’ and the S-Bahn station ‘Anhalter Bahnhof’ are equipped with a lift. The map of the underground station and further information can be found here

Location: The STATION Berlin event area covers around 23,000 square metres. The site is largely barrier-free, at ground level and easily accessible for people in wheelchairs. We offer several options to sit down and pause along your way through the location. The "Hall 5" on the upper floor can only be reached via stairs or a lift. At Stage 1, we have designated priority seating for people in wheelchairs as well as seating with easy access. There are several wheelchair-accessible sanitary facilities. They are marked on the site plan for the event.

For a better understanding of the location, check the website of STATION Berlin. There you can find pictures of the individual halls and you can take a 3D-tour.

Translation: You can follow the programme on Stage 1 either in the original language, with language interpretation or in German Sign Language - live on location or via live stream. The translation into German Sign Language (DGS) will be broadcast on screens next to the stage. We will designate seats from which the programme can best be followed. A mobile team of sign language interpreters (DGS) can also be requested via the information counter.
We also offer live transcription of the presentations and discussions for Stage 1. This means that the content presented can also be read.

All visitors who require the support of an accompanying person can bring them to the event free of charge – in exceptional cases, more than one person or different accompanying persons on different days. To do this, select the ‘Reduced with accompanying person’ category in our ticket shop. Further information can be found here.
