Talk, talk, talk. And communication.

An der Universität Bielefeld beschäftige ich mich mit dem großen Thema Sprache, Kommunikation, Interaktion. Ich lehre im Studiengang Linguistik und forsche an authentischen Gesprächen aus Alltag, Medizin und Medien. Ich schaue genau hin, höre aufmerksam zu und suche nach Mustern, Routinen und Kreativität. Ich übe mich in Wissenschaftskommunikation und interessiere mich für Citizen Science. Ich bin zum ersten Mal bei der re:publica.

At Bielefeld University, I study the broad topic of language, communication and interaction. I teach linguistics courses and study real conversations in everyday life, in medicine and in the media. I observe closely, listen attentively and look for patterns, routines and creativity everywhere. I practice science communication and learn about citizen science. I'm at re:publica for the first time.
