Paola Zanchetta She/Her

Paola (She/Her) – Researcher and Distributed Designer – works on collaborative, open, and regenerative projects. At Ideas For Change, she is currently researching how to build a more diverse and inclusive community within the European program NGI (Next Generation Internet). The EU NGI project focuses on building an internet that is open, inclusive, secure, and privacy-oriented. 

Paola has contributed to various initiatives in the distributed design field, such as the Precious Plastic initiative in Spain and the Netherlands, as well as with the Metabolic Foundation in Aruba. She has also participated in circular design challenges in Bali, México and Spain, organized by the FabCity, FabFoundation and FabLab Barcelona.

Currently, Paola collaborates with Circu Leren and Fiction Factory in Amsterdam on the development of open-source projects such as Inter Matter, a collaborative sustainable materials library based on life cycle assessment, and Found Objects, a dynamic tool for creating objects from leftover sheet material in CNC production.
