Zusammenfassung
The EU is not a nation, a state or a government, but a project. It's defined by a rather abstract set of values, missing its daily presence in society. How these European values could be brought to life, will be the challenge of a creative workshop run by the M.A.Strategic Design of the SRH Berlin.

How can we break down the values of the European Union to a comprehensive level? How to make them accessible to different target groups in everyday life?

Next to values like gender equality, security, human rights and freedom of expression, especially democracy, a very fragile treasure currently being threatened by the far-right surge, needs to be re-anchored in society.

In collaboration with the Communication Advisor of the European Commission in Brussels, 20 international master students from the M.A. Strategic Design of the SRH University Berlin are currently working on this challenge. Under the guidance of the programme directors Prof. Katrin Androschin and Prof. Julia Leihener, they are developing various innovative concepts, ranging from campaigns, event formats to artefacts and others. In an interactive workshop, they will introduce the re:publica generation XYZ to these first ideas, to be challenged with critical minds. Creative Strategic Design Thinking methods will engage the workshop participants to drive these innovations further, aiming for a future roll-out across Europe.

Let's sustain the powerful values of Europe!
