The Story of Makerspaces in Africa

What will happen

I will be telling the audience about what makerspaces in Africa are doing and how they are thriving. I will also tell of how a regional body is putting efforts into harmonizing makers, makerspaces, hobbyist, students and innovators.

What it is about

This seeks to tell the story of makerspaces on the African continent. It will throw light on their activities, innovations and impact in their respective regions and the entire continent. The session will also throw light on how a regional network is supporting the makerspaces through capacity building programs and promotion of their activities.

What method

A talk which would include showing a slide of pictures and videos related to my topic.
