My work is placed in the intersection of data science, policy, politics, and software.

I co-create HowTheyVote.eu, where we make vote results of the European Parliament transparent and accessible – for citizens, journalists, researchers, and activists.

As an analyst, my main interest is the increasing power of the far-right in the European Parliament and the subsequent polarization of Parliament on current issues - and how to capture this with quantitative methods. More generally, I am also interested in emerging alliances across countries and between parties.

In a research context, I investigated information dissemination on Twitter in the context of elections and was involved in the zweitstimme.org project, where I was mainly focused on the perception of election polls in Germany.

Currently obtaining a M.Sc. in Data Science for Public Policy at the Hertie School in Berlin. Previously, I studied IT Systems Engineering in Potsdam (HPI) and spent a few years developing software.
