How much will I be paid as a speaker at re:publica?

We can only pay fees in selected cases and up to a certain amount. These are negotiated on an individual basis. Basically, we differentiate as follows

• Invited Speakers on our main stage (who are invited by the programme team) may receive a speaking fee.
• Invited speakers for panels and interviews (invited by the programme team) may receive a compensation fee.
• Speakers from the Call for Participation will not receive a fee, but will receive access to the event for all three days of the festival (including catering on the day of your session).

Thanks to our partners and collaborations with other festivals, we also have the opportunity to receive funding for travel and/or fees for selected individual speakers. We will clearly mark programme sessions that have been supported financially by sponsors and/or partners in the programme.
