Judith Kohlenberger is a senior researcher at the Institute for Social Policy, Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU), and an affiliated researcher the Austrian Institute for International Affairs (oiip). She works on forced migration and refugees, and dimensions of integration and belonging. Her research has been published in international journals and was awarded several prizes, most recently the Kurt-Rothschild-Prize 2019 and the Austrian Academic Book of the Year 2023. She regularly publishes in Austrian media, serves on the board of the Austrian Society for European Politics and is a member of the City of Vienna’s Integration Council.
