Enric is as a Ramón y Cajal researcher and professor at the Universitat de Barcelona, Faculty of Information and Audiovisual Media, specializing in methodological experimentation, co-creation in digital/community settings and open science. His previous positions include postdoctoral fellowships at the Dimmons.net research group at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, the Peer-Produced Research Lab at Université Paris Cité and the Austrian Centre for Digital Humanities.

As president of the Platoniq Foundation and co-founder of the Goteo.org open-source civic crowdfunding platform, and grounded in his PhD in Sociology from the Internet Interdisciplinary Institute (IN3), Enric has extensive expertise in participatory design materials and facilitation for co-creation processes. A role that has contributed to international projects such as Open Humans, Europeana Creative, the Connected Action for the Commons network or Citilab-Cornellà living lab.

In collaboration with FemProcomuns.coop and a team of people passionate about the world of publishing, typography and DIY literature, Enric initiated in 2009 the pliegos.net micro-publishing initiative.
