Birth certificate or housing benefit – 253 services are currently available for application online by Berlin residents. And what’s more: conditions for everyone will be simplified before the end of this year solely thanks to the digital registration certificate. This is because the capital has a clear goal: making it unnecessary to visit the Citizens’ Office. In future the data will go to the office and not the Berlin residents. In the Berlin Laboratory at the stand of the Senate Chancellery, you'll be able to explore topics like Open Data, Smart City, Citizens’ participation and engagement – or you can help dispose of “departmental ping-pong” by playing table tennis.

The Senate Department of Culture in Berlin is offering - in cooperation with the 'kulturBdigital' project of the Technologiestiftung Berlin - several booth and stage formats on the future role of digitality of Berlin‘s cultural sector: How to form and create a digital cultural program - and develop it in the long term? Which forms of hardware and technology sharing have emerged in Berlin recently – and what is still needed? Which potentials but also remaining problems of digital technologies exist for participation and (digital) accessibility?

In unseren beiden Startup Areas könnt ihr in die Welt von Female Entrepreneurship und FinTechs eintauchen, euch mit den Teams vor Ort vernetzen und mehr über ihre Ideen erfahren. Auf der Fläche erwartet euch ein abwechslungsreiches Standprogramm sowie verschiedene Diskussionsrunden auf unseren Bühnen. Die Startup Areas auf der re:publica 23 werden euch präsentiert vom „Projekt Zukunft“ der Berliner Senatsverwaltung für Wirtschaft, Energie und Betriebe (SenWEB).
