re:publica 25
26th-28th May 2025
STATION Berlin
Together with Stiftung Mercator, we are placing a special focus at re:publica 2025 on two key areas within the programme special “re:claim Digital Future”: strengthening a democratic, diverse digital public sphere and advancing government and public administration in the digital age.
The spotlight is on the digital transformation of democracy, new forms of political participation, and the question of how public spaces on the internet can be shaped in a democratic way.
From the very beginning, re:publica has served as a platform for digital policy dialogue. With Stiftung Mercator as our partner, we are able to deepen and drive this conversation forward, working together to develop ideas and solutions for a digitized society that prioritizes democracy, participation, and social cohesion.
This year’s core topics include: How do digital platforms and technologies shape public discourse, influence political debate, and transform democratic processes? Other key subjects on the agenda are platform regulation, combating disinformation, the use of artificial intelligence, and the development and implementation of an ambitious digital strategy—essential tasks for policymakers, civil society, business, and academia alike.
The programme special “re:claim Digital Future” is supported by Stiftung Mercator.
