Irma is a mathematical researcher, with a dedication to tech justice, activist internet initiatives and queerfeminist AI policy. She is the founder of LODelle, a collective coding initiative aimed at closing the gender data gap. In collaboration with the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society (HIIG) in their Public Interest AI lab, she's making posters on bias, fairness metrics and bias mitigation in AI systems. She spoke at the EU commission roundtable on missed feminist angles in the EU AI Act.
