Chris Ziegler

Chris Ziegler is a digital artist on stage. He founded the group 'movingimages' in 1999, which develops performances and builds immersive technologies for dance and theater. Since then was an associate Artist at the Center for Art and Media ZKM Karlsruhe till 2013. He taught at Arizona State University 'interactive media' 2013 - 2021). After returning to Europe he was member of DOCKdigital Berlin, where he developed the AR dance performance ARENA and "Movement Robotics" with dance and robotics, which was performed at the ARS ELECTRONICA Festival LInz. He is currently working on ANA, a theater installation with AI, which is funded by 'Volkswagen' and 'Stiftung Niedersachsen'.
