Martyna is an AI governance, regulation and social tech impacts researcher. Previously, she has worked on innovation policy and digital markets at the European Commission, AI governance at the GPAI hosted at the OECD and AI standardisation at AXA's AI research team. Her interest in AI policy stems from research on privacy and surveillance, which she has pursued across startups, NGOs and think tanks across Lithuania, Washington DC and India. Martyna graduated with distinction from Sciences Po Paris with a Master's in Public Policy focused on digital and new technologies. Her MA thesis, "Unregulated Negative Impacts of AI: Mixed Methods Analysis of Feedback Responses to the EU AI Act Proposal", has been published by Sciences Po School of Public Affairs.
