re:publica 25
26th-28th May 2025
STATION Berlin

You submitted more than 1,260 ideas to the Call for Participation for #rp25 - a huge thank you to all of you! You are amazing! Particularly impressive: With 832 submissions from women compared to 638 from men, it is once again clear how strongly and diversely female perspectives are represented in this year's Call for Participation and will therefore certainly also shape the #rp25 programme.
While the evaluation is in full swing, the re:publica programme team can rely on the support of our fantastic track teams again this year.
How is the #rp25 festival programme created?
Each CfP submission is carefully screened and reviewed by the programme team. To ensure that we consider the diversity and depth of topics from all angles, we work closely with our track teams. These teams consist of experienced experts, loyal supporters of re:publica, members of the community and selected speakers who have enriched the festival for years.
There is a separate team for each track, which analyses the respective submissions. In close collaboration with the programme team, the submissions are evaluated, discussed and the best ideas for the rp25 programme are voted on. Together, trends are identified, key topics are set and potential gaps in the programme are discovered, which are then closed by the programme team in a curatorial capacity. The recommendations of the track teams play a central role in this process and are therefore an indispensable component of programme development, not only in the evaluation of the CfP.
What's next?
Now it's time to wait and keep your fingers crossed! The final evaluation still needs some time. You will find out until mid-March whether your session will be part of the #rp25 programme. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our great track teams – for their commitment, their expertise and their time!
